This is the first of cryptic background references we hear about Rusty's pre-Sunnyville life.  To those of you who want to know who is Sarah Ann, she was a friend of Rusty's that lived in the same apartment building back when Rusty lived in the city.  They knew each other since kindergarten and were very much inseparable, much like Rusty and Sam are now.  Sarah Ann moved away one year before Rusty moved to Sunnyville.

We may meet Sarah Ann in a future story.  Of course, we have to wonder why Sam seems upset at the mention of Sarah Ann...
